Welcome to Scriptwell Studio. By using our website (https://scriptwellstudio.com) and our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before engaging with us.

1. Services Provided

Scriptwell Studio offers creative services including, but not limited to:

  • Children’s book development (story writing, editing, ghostwriting)

  • Children’s book illustration

  • Translation services (Vietnamese–English)

  • Related creative consulting

Services may be updated or expanded from time to time.

2. Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information required for your project.

  • Respond to communication in a timely manner so your project stays on schedule.

  • Review drafts, proofs, or deliverables within the timeframe provided.

Failure to provide necessary materials or feedback may delay project completion.

3. Payments and Refunds

  • Payment terms are outlined in individual service agreements or invoices.

  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Refunds are not guaranteed once work has begun, but may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

  • Final deliverables will not be released until payment is received in full.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Client Content: You retain ownership of all original content you provide to us (e.g., manuscripts, source material).

  • Studio Work: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Scriptwell Studio retains rights to draft work, sketches, and unused concepts.

  • Final Deliverables: Upon full payment, you receive rights to use the final agreed deliverables (e.g., finished manuscript, illustrations) for publishing or personal use.

  • We may display non-confidential work in our portfolio or marketing unless you request otherwise in writing.

5. Timelines and Delivery

  • Project timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Delays may occur due to client response times, scope changes, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed deadlines.

6. Revisions

  • Each project includes a set number of revisions (specified in your service package).

  • Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope may incur extra fees.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Scriptwell Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • We do not guarantee publishing success, sales performance, or third-party acceptance of your work.

8. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and confidentiality. Any manuscripts, drafts, or client information shared with us will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the project by written notice.

  • If terminated, the client is responsible for payment of all completed work and expenses incurred up to the termination date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States.
